Calamares provides you with the ability to online grab still images out of your video file in order to:
- Convert video to images
- Grab a picture out of a video frame
- Choose a thumbnail image to present your video on a webpage or in a gallery

These generated still images can be used for any reason, and will remain related to the video for copyright purposes and your general overview.
Calamares automatically generates a still image to show as a thumbnail image within the system. You are of course able to change this image yourself.
