Provisioning Accounts & Outlets
In order to easily deploy Calamares within your organization, to setup your media landscape, and to let it grow it is possible to provision user accounts, client environments and media outlets with Calamares.
Calamares enables auto-deployment of predefined environments and accounts, even via the available Calamares webservice.
Ideal if you are an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or want to become a Virtual ISP for servicing your own organization.
Provisioning Accounts & Outlets
Another form of auto-deployment is the way Embed Players and Social Embed players are generated by Calamares.
Instead of delivering a copy of the link or the source code Calamares generates a new unique link or code.
This makes tracking & reporting of the behaviour of that specific player or outlet possible.
Embedded Players, Not Embedded Video
Calamares provides embed code to players and outlets only. Calamares doesn't publish your Assets and Content directly, but distributes only the 'windows' (a.k.a. outlets and players) via which you publish content, unless you offer a direct file download.
This way you keep full control over your assets and rights, and you are still able to change the content in these 'windows' while the window itself is already copied or distributed.
Since these outlets are intelligent, they report their location, user details, behaviour and usage back to the central Calamares system.
This way Calamares is able to check whether serving the requested content is allowed based on the rights which rest on your assets or user rights.
